Manly Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Sydney, Australia. Located on the Northern Beaches, Manly Beach is a beautiful place to spend your day if you are lucky enough to visit this part of the world. We have put together some information about what you can do at Manly Beach and why people love it so much!

Manly Beach is a popular place for travelling surfers and swimmers looking to beat the heat during summer. The best time of year to enjoy Manly Beach is from spring until autumn (September). However, that doesn't mean it’s not crowded in this period! There are plenty of tourists flocking here every day, which means there will always be something fun going on at Manly; be it an amazing beachside restaurant or some awesome surfing spots. That being said, we recommend coming early if you want your pick of the best seats by the water: don’t wait until later in the afternoon when all good seating has been taken! It may also help to come down on a weekday; while it can get a little busy during the summertime, it’s much easier to find your own space on a weekday rather than during the weekend.

If you want some more action, check out one of Manly's famous surf beaches! There are four different ones within walking distance from each other: North Steyne Beach, South Steyne Beach, Curl Curl and Queenscliff. We recommend going down to South Steyne first as it has a great break for surfing near its northern end. This is where you are gong to find most of the locals. It will be more of a relaxed surfing experience, we suggest heading down to the southern end of North Steyne Beach or Queenscliff.

Finally, don't forget to check out The Corso and Manly Wharf while you're in the area! These two areas are connected by one long stretch of road which is full of small shops selling food and drinks as well as souvenirs for purchase. It can get extremely busy here during holiday periods such as Christmas but it's still worth checking out if only just for its picturesque views over Sydney Harbour!

If time permits and you have transportation, try going up to North head for the most amazing view of the city of Sydney. It is a great place to chill with friends and explore the surroundings.

I am lucky enough to live in this area and I've also set up my work in this area. I have one of the best headshot photography business in Sydney so if you need a headshot photograph whilst visiting Manly do get in touch!
